Meet the Team

At the heart of the Hepatoblastoma Resource Network (HRN) is a simple, powerful truth: parents are the true experts in their children’s care.

HRN Leadership

HRN was founded and is led entirely by parents who have walked through the fire of a hepatoblastoma diagnosis themselves. Every leader in our organization has sat by a hospital bed, deciphered complex medical jargon, and navigated the overwhelming weight of childhood liver cancer. We understand this journey because we have lived it from the parent perspective.

Because of this shared experience, every piece of content HRN creates is built to fulfill at least one of three core promises:

  • Uncover Hard-to-Find Knowledge: Deliver vital, practical information and insights that parents cannot easily find anywhere else.

  • Empower Advocacy: Equip families with clear, actionable language to confidently speak up and advocate for their child's care.

  • Restore Hope: Provide the deep, reassuring comfort of knowing that someone else has been right where you are—and that you are never alone.

We harness our lived experiences to support, guide, and uplift every family coming behind us, ensuring no parent has to navigate hepatoblastoma in the dark.
