Our story is your story.

Welcome to the Hepatoblastoma Resource Network (HRN)

We are a nonprofit organization supporting families affected by hepatoblastoma and other pediatric liver cancers. Every member of our leadership team has walked this exact path—navigating the journey of a child with hepatoblastoma firsthand. We exist to fill a profound gap: families facing these rare diagnoses have almost nowhere to turn for disease-specific, trustworthy, family-centered information and support.

HRN was founded in 2019 by Christina and Cody Stiverson, in memory of their daughter, Adelaide ("Addie"), who passed away from chemo-resistant, metastatic hepatoblastoma (a rare liver cancer). Learn more about her journey at Addie’s Research.

Patient-Centered. Family-Led. Community-Built.

OUR MISSION

To support families affected by hepatoblastoma and other pediatric liver cancers by providing credible resources, fostering community, and advancing collaborative care and research.

OUR VISION

We exist to shine a light on hepatoblastoma—a rare and aggressive liver cancer that primarily affects babies and young children. Increased awareness is essential to help families recognize the challenges of this disease, encourage support for pediatric cancer research, and ensure that children and their caregivers do not face treatment alone.
